This fantasy campaign is set inside a legendary bag known only as the Teyvurien. It was crafted by a powerful wizard and is much, much larger on the inside than the out. How your party come across this bag is up to you; they may find it at the heart of an epic dungeon or in the clenched fist of an unfortunate adventurer.

The adventure begins when the players try to mess with this obviously-very-magical bag or when they peep inside to see what it contains. When this occurs, they will quickly discover the bag contains an entire world. They are now trapped inside the bag. If they want to leave, they must find one of the legendary Silken Threads and follow it back to the real world.

While your players are inside the Teyvurien, they have no control over what is happening to the bag in the real world. Pirates may sell it to traders from far-off lands, many years could pass before the players find a way out, or a magpie may have used it to build a nest in the astral plane.

This narrative versatility makes the Upon A Silken Thread adventures a handy palette cleanser for your long-standing campaign. it is designed to be a seamless transition and accessible to a range of tastes.

The Black Hole

The adventure sample provided below is set in the Black Hole, the dank sewers beneath the rabbit city of Hopscotch. It works as a one-off adventure that can be used to get an idea of the campaign's tone and difficulty.

The Black Hole is designed to be played in whatever roleplaying system your group uses. As such, you will not find rules for hitpoints, skills or magic. There are no stat-blocks. Look at this as a scrapbook of ideas rather than a manual of how-to-play. We trust you.

Can you find out way out of the Black Hole?

"There is no light to guide your way down here. Foul oozes drip from the crumbling ceiling and the murmurs of spirits dance in your ears. Runoff from the Water Warrens flows past at ankle height, carrying with it all manner of lost junk and forgotten detritus. In the distance you hear a soft and lonely song tumbling through the tunnels, gathering echoes to give it harmony."
